What We Do

Human Trafficking Prevention Alliance is inspiring a positive belief that we can do better together to raise awareness and shine a light on human trafficking and child exploitation. If we are to make a positive impact on people’s lives, we must raise our voices together about the issues. By collaborating with optimism and a shared vision, we can make strides and bring about transformation. We can prevent human trafficking and child exploitation.

Provide Awareness

HTPA is focused on empowering communities to know what human trafficking looks like and what to do about it.  We do this through professional parent training, youth programs, events, and other media.

Primary Prevention

Prevention Education is essential in any comprehensive response to tackle the reality of human trafficking and the exploitation of children. Our youth are counting on us to help them navigate the world. As parents, guardians, grandparents, and caregivers, it is our responsibility to provide them with the tools and skills required to overcome obstacles and reduce their vulnerabilities. Primary prevention is at the very core of what we do.

Fundraise

HTPA is a non-profit organization supporting other NGOs whose work is aimed at keeping children safe. Fundraising is a large part of this support effort.

Advocacy

We look for opportunities to support state and national laws aimed to the safety of children and the rights of survivors of human trafficking. This will be done in several ways:  1. Influence policies and legislation at local, regional, or national levels.  2. Conduct research, produce reports, and provide expert opinions to inform policymakers about the importance of child safety. 3. Network to amplify our voices and advocate for the implementation of laws and regulations that protect children.

Collaborate

HTPA  seeks to collaborate with other NGOs on events and programs.  Collaboration with other NGOs is crucial for maximizing impact, leveraging resources, and addressing complex social issues. By working together, we can achieve more significant and sustainable outcomes in our efforts to create positive change. We are all in this together!
