Human Trafficking 101 is designed to educate and empower the community to recognize, prevent, and respond to the threat of human trafficking and exploitation. This course provides essential knowledge about the realities of human trafficking, the tactics used by traffickers, and the critical role they play in safeguarding themselves and others.

Course Objectives:

• Understanding Human Trafficking: Gain a comprehensive understanding of what human trafficking is, its various forms, and how it impacts victims and communities.
• Recognizing Signs: Learn to identify the warning signs and behaviors that may indicate a child is being groomed or targeted by traffickers.
• Prevention Strategies: Explore effective strategies for preventing trafficking, including creating safe environments, fostering open communication, and building awareness within the community.
• Resources and Support: Discover the resources and support systems available for victims and their families, and learn how to effectively utilize them.
• Advocacy and Action: Understand how to advocate for stronger anti-trafficking measures and engage in community efforts to combat trafficking.
