The purpose of the donations is to support HTPAs mission to end human trafficking and child exploitation and justice for survivors. We have the right to refuse or cancel your order if fraud or an unauthorized or illegal transaction is suspected. If fraud or an unauthorized or illegal transaction is suspected, we have the right to contact law enforcement to report the above actions and to provide your information.
Transparency: Your donations will be used for the purpose of fulfilling our mission and goals.
Tax Deductibility: HTPA is a registered nonprofit designated 501(3)C.
Donor Privacy: Donors have the right to expect that their personal and financial information will be kept confidential and used only for the intended purposes.
Refund Policy: We do not give refunds for donations made to HTPA.
Recurring Donations: Currently our systems do not accept recurring donations.
Donor Rights: As donors you have the right to ask questions about your donations, receive information about our organization's activities, and be treated with respect.
Communication Preferences: We intend to communicate with donors via a monthly newsletter. You will be able to opt out of the newsletter.
Use of Funds: In the newsletter we will provide detailed information on how the donated funds will be used to further our organization's goals and initiatives.
Financial Accountability: HTPA maintains financial accountability and adheres to relevant financial reporting standards.
Third-Party Services: We use industry-standard SSL technology to keep your information secure. We partner with Stripe, the industry's established payment processor trusted by some of the world's largest companies. Your sensitive financial information never touches our servers. We send all data directly to Stripe's PCI-compliant servers through SSL.
Dispute Resolution: Any disputes or concerns related to donations will be addressed and resolved at our organization’s board meetings.
Legal Compliance: HTPA operates within the bounds of all applicable laws and regulations related to charitable donations.
Modification of Terms: HTPA reserves the right to update or modify the donation terms and communicate these changes to donors.

HTPA will not compensate, whether through commissions, finders' fees, or other means, any third party for directing a gift or a donor to HTPA
